FOR SPRING 2011 PUPPIES
Wolf "hybrids" are a cross between wolves and domestic dogs. However, in 1992, scientists re-classified dogs and wolves as the same species, making the term "hybrid" obsolete. Now, such mixes are known as wolf dogs.
In general, wolf dogs are not aggressive animals. In fact, they are often quite elusive & inquisitive, preferring to observe the new and unusual rather than charging in head first. For this reason, they make wonderful companions but are generally not suitable guard dogs.
Wolf dogs, even as puppies, are naturally very clever and can find their way out of most enclosures, so good housing is a MUST.
